Terrific Bang Hairstyle
At some stage you will want some bangs. No matter who you are you have probably had a bang hairstyle at some stage in your life. It is strange how this haircut always makes a comeback but cannot be ignored by women. The temptation is to great. Some women just look awesome in bangs, could you be one of them?
This cut has been around for centuries and can be described as timeless. However hold on for a moment and think about the following aspects before you get yourself into a hairy situation.
So if you have tried them or are about to here are some quick tips.
There are different facial shapes, so you will have to know whether you have one of the following: oval, long,round,heart or square. A lot of women do not know how to do this. If you are in doubt then simply measure your face. This is done by measuring from the top to the bottom, sideways at your cheekbones and then at the jawline. Now you can determine what your shape is.
Oval Shape
If this is your face shape then you are blessed. This shape goes almost with any hairstyle and you can basically pic and choose.
Long Form
Obviously your prerogative here is to make your face seem a bit shorter. The best choice would be longer bangs. Blunt bangs will be super.
Round Shape
If this is you then you would want to get some added length to your shape. Short bangs will work best. However do not let them lie flat on your forehead. An asymmetric style will be wise.
Heart Form
Side swept bangs will be ideal. To cover the forehead a cut just below the eyebrows will work very well. Your goal is to make your forehead seem a bit smaller.
Square Face
Avoid blunt bangs at all costs. What will happen if you have this style is it will only highlight the square shape of your face. What will work best is if you go for an angled style fringe.
However before you make the cut there are some important things to remember. Do you have a cowlick? Be sure you know how to style them. Before the hairstylist snips away ask her to show you how bangs will look on you by taking hair from the back and making a faux fringe. This will give you a pretty good idea. Ask them what your facial shape is and tell them to give you the options that will suite you best.
Bangs have to be cut often, so your hairdresser should do that at no extra cost. If your stylist doesn't do this get another hairdresser.
There is something else you could try. The latest trend is to use Clip-In bangs. Now you can see what you will look like. If you finally decided that bangs wont work for you, you can always wear these clip ins for a great change.
This really is a big decision, a bang hairstyle is superb. The great news is that you can now use virtual software to determine if certain hairstyles will suit you or not.
